Easily Contact Your Legislators With Our
New HPNA Advocacy Action Center
Now Even Easier to Support Bills Like PCHETA (S. 693)
The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association has some great news to share with members today! Earlier this week, we launched our first Advocacy Action Center. This online resource will enable all of our members to easily comment on and advocate for specific pieces of legislation, federal regulations, and other public policy items. Now our advocacy messages can be sent directly to your specific elected officials with only a few clicks. We are proud to offer this type of resource to our members.
As an active member of HPNA, we wanted to give you a first look at the platform. To visit and use the Advocacy Action Center, please use the following link: HPNA Advocacy Action Center.
Feel free to try the first engagement item, which is centered around the critically important Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (PCHETA) (S. 693) legislation currently awaiting action in the United States Senate. The site is live, so your message will be delivered directly to your U.S. Senators. HPNA has provided you with a terrific template message around the legislation to get you started. Your advocacy message requesting Senators to move PCHETA forward should only take 1-2 minutes to send.
